SOUP KITCHEN

A sizeable amount of America’s fresh produce is grown in California. Yet, rapidly increasing rents and rising homeless populations have led to increasing food insecurity in California. According to a 2017 homeless census and survey, Santa Clara, CA has the third highest rate of chronic homelessness in the entire country.

Rahima Foundation has partnered with Project We Hope in East Palo Alto, Life Moves (2 facilities) in San Jose, and Open Heart Kitchen in Dublin to bring over 400 fresh, warm nutritious meals to all these shelters. We strive to bring warmth and security with our hot meals for those who fight every day for their right to live with dignity and peace.
